Sinead : Swimmers

If you like Sinead O’Connor’s cover of Elton John’s “Sacrifice” (and how could you not), you’ll love Great Lake Swimmers’ “There Is A Light” on their album Ongiara. The first time I heard this album I felt strangely nostalgic…and then recalled memories of listening to the cover album “Two Rooms: Celebrating the Songs of Elton John and Bernie Taupin” as a kid in my dad’s car and on Saturday mornings. Check it out!

Wet Hot American Summer : The Ten

WARNING: The Ten is not good.  If you liked or loved Wet Hot American Summer as much as I did, you were probably expecting The Ten to be a similarly delightful romp in the world of those crazy Canadians from the State…not so, as I learned from my recent error in netflix judgment.  A few good laughs, but nothing comes close to “You taste like burger, I don’t like you anymore.”  See for yourself but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
